There are various forms in which the environment is categorized. The natural environment consists of biotic and abiotic factors. Biotic factors mean flora and fauna. Flora stands for all greeneries present on the earth and fauna stands for all animal species. In a natural environment, there are various abiotic factors i.e. air, soil, water, sunlight, mountains and other factors of survival for a living organism.

The environment is our surroundings. It comprises of natural, social and man-made environments. The natural environment is all the biotic and abiotic factors present on earth. All social relationships that involve the gathering of two or more people are called as a social environment.
