Manipur is a state of India located in North east direction. The state is bounded by Nagaland, Mizoram, Assam and Burma. Imphal is the capital and Manipuri is the official language of Manipur. Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru has described Manipur in one sentence as “jewels of India” because of its beauty. People with different traditions are residing here like Kuki, Naga, Pangal and Mizo.
