Jharkhand is one of the states of India. Earlier, it was the part of Bihar however, get separated from Bihar on 15 Nov 2000. It shares its border by Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh, Odisha and West Bengal. Ranchi is the Capital of Jharkhand. Literacy rate in Jharkhand according to 2011 censes is around 67.63% in which Male literacy is 78.45% and female is 56.21%.
Level of primary education in this state is good because 90% of the children are studying in school which is much better in comparison to the year 1993-1994. Higher education facility is also good in the state now as it has several Polytechnic colleges offering diploma, post diploma degree in various streams.
