Jammu and Kashmir is the state of India situated in north part of India. Jammu & Kashmir is situated at the border of China and Pakistan. Kashmir is the part of state called as Heaven on Earth because of its beautiful valleys, climate, jheels, trees, etc. The state has shown improvement in literacy rate (65.57%) compared to 2001-2002. Male literacy is increased to 75.30% and women 57.11%.
To increase education level in state, several positive changes are made by the state government for citizens of Jammu & Kashmir in terms of their requirement of school, free books, residential issues, mid day meal, etc. The Diploma courses are effective way for getting higher education and implementing knowledge and skill in social life.
