5 Strategies to Achieve Better Marks in 12th Exams
Achieving good marks is the dream of everyone but it requires consistent hard work, sincerity and strong determination to achieve it. Though it seems difficult but believes me it is totally possible. We have provided some major strategies which will help you get good marks in the 12th examination and help you pass it with flying colors.
- Compete with Yourself
Always compete with yourself. Do not judge yourself with respect to the other persons but instead compete with yourself and try improving. Try to defeat yourself by what you have achieved in the past by making yourself much stronger and better than in the past. If you had achieved 50% in the last test try to defeat yourself by achieving more than that the next time and so on after the next exam. After some time you will realize that there is an improvement in yourself and your performance.
- Make Daily Notes
Whatever you learn today in the school or college, make the notes on the same day after coming back home. Be consistent in preparing the notes. Try to understand the concept and make notes in your language. Very soon you will realize that your notes are the ones which have the essence of the books and you need not have to go through the pages of the books every time.
- Effective Time Management
Manage your activities and try to take some time out of your activities and focus on your goal. Follow the proverb early to bed and early to rise makes man healthy wealthy and wise. Do not waste time in useless activities and stay away from the friends who waste your time.
- Asses yourself
Once you have completed the syllabus start solving the question papers of previous years and asses yourself honestly by checking the answer sheet. It will help you to understand the trend and pattern of the question paper and help you prepare accordingly.
- Finish the Paper Early
Always try to finish the question paper early and save at least 15 minutes to recheck your answer and do the required modifications. This will help you to correct the things which you might have left or forgotten in hurry or out of nervousness.
Following the above strategies will help you to better yourself as well as achieve better marks in the exams. Always be positive in attitude and be confident and face the exam with enthusiasm and no one can stop you to achieve your goal. Wishing you the best of luck for your preparations and a very bright future.
