Nalanda, city of state Bihar, is well known for its world famous university “Nalanda University” which is the place for providing excellent education to students all across the ‘Asia’ sometimes ‘World’ also. World famous Nalanda University is a huge centre for Buddhist studies including philosophy, medical and mathematics also.
According to the government running program “Right to education act” which proves a universal right to education for all human beings that includes primary education compulsory and free for all, also making sure that secondary education is accessible for all students residing in rural or urban areas. Thus state Government has focused on building quality teachers with skill of learning and imparting valuable knowledge to the young students that will need to go to a higher level in their pursuit of education. Though Nalanda is a small District of state Bihar but it has around 13 colleges situated here for teacher training programs affiliated from different universities and approved by NCTE.
