Aurangabad, city of Bihar, is one of the districts of state. After implementation of “Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act” and “Right to Education Act” by state government, the department of Education Bihar is concentrating on bringing education to its each and every city or village.
In Aurangabad city, there are various schools setup for primary and secondary education providing excellent elementary and upper level education. There are very limited colleges available for bachelor of education programs. Among 9 colleges of B.ed situated in town, 7 colleges are affiliated from Magadh University; one is from S.N.D.T. Women's University and second is from Maulana Mazharul Haque Arabic & Persian University. All the colleges are providing NCTE approved courses for teacher Training programs.
